A seafood oysterette makes a splash in the heart of Oklahoma City.

Gardner designed the interior of this restaurant, located in a historic building in Oklahoma City’s Uptown District. This “modern oysterette” enjoys a prime location that provides both an expansive view of a bustling intersection and generous amounts of natural light. The tone of the interior relies on subtle shifts of pastel colors offset by light, warm wood tones, and brass accents, reminiscent of the coastal inspiration and signature seafood fare.

Reinforcing this light and airy aesthetic are the balance and contrasting weights of the furniture and fixtures in the restaurant. The backbar serves as a focal point, grounding the space’s subtly nautical aesthetic. Circular white oak booths seem to float through the open central dining room as if to transport guests on a cozy dining journey.
