After a stringent application process by the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority (OCURA), the developers selected Gardner to design a building that fosters place-making, walkability, and timeless architecture, while responding to the resurgence of activity in the Downtown Oklahoma City market.
The new 4-story development currently under construction will feature more than 300 apartments of various sizes and more than 20% designated workforce units. Integrated parking, a high walkability score, and an EMBARK bus stop at the front door make 700 West a carefully considered answer to the Downtown Urban Core’s lack of convenient, workforce housing options. Public and private amenities include parking garage, private pool, groundfloor live/work options, and a private dog park.
